This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Alan Campbell who was born in Illinois on February 04, 1957 and passed away by his own hand on August 18, 2005 at the age of 48. Alan was loved by all who knew him.
Alan fought the demon of Alcoholism for most of his life. He was able to suppress it at various times but, in the end, it proved to be stronger than he. Alan was a very strong willed man. Although he was able to quit smoking, alcohol had a much tighter grip on him. Even with AA/NA, he ultimately lost his battle.
We miss him and love him. Nothing can fill the empty cavern that was left for so many on that day.
